Allow me to introduce myself: I’m Megan – a designer, web developer, and chocolate lover. I like to put puzzles together, perfect every detail, and walk my dogs on sunny days. Front -end design and development is my “nerd-high!”
My Design Philosophy
Fantastic design is about more than creating a pretty website. A functional website should do more than just convey information. A truly successful website seamlessly combines design and functionality allowing the user to be drawn in by aesthetic beauty and ease of use.
How It All Started
As a stay-at-home mom of two young boys, I was convinced that I could jump on the mommy blogger wagon to fulfill all my dreams! I tried several times. I had so many ideas, but found that each time I finished designing and building my beautiful website, I completely lost interest in it.
That’s when the lightning struck!
I don’t like blogging, but I love creating beautiful and functional websites. I knew I needed to pursue this new passion and I completed a Bachelor degree in Web Design and Development and began taking freelance work.
Why did I tell you this? Because it’s all about the little details in the big picture. All the little details come together to create beautiful, engaging, and fascinating lives. The same is true in my work. Combining functionality and beauty in one polished website is an art and a challenge I thrive on. I love bringing all the pieces together to create a pleasing and effective experience for internet users.
